True Color Tablets
Non-toxic and safe – Comes in three primary colors!
For a long time, food coloring was the only way to color liquids, but food coloring stains very easily. Steve Spangler set out to find an alternative to food coloring and found Color Fizzers. These True Color Tablets, sometimes called Tub Tints, are the size of a small candy, but can color up to 1 liter of water. Fizzers, when dropped into water and other liquids, dissolve and add vivid colors to the liquids without staining your hands.
How does it work?
Color Fizzers are a combination of pigment, citric acid (as in citrus), sodium bicarbonate (plain baking soda), and a binder. All of these are water soluble with the added bonus that citric acid and sodium bicarbonate react in water to release carbon dioxide (CO2) gas. That’s what you see in the fizzing bubbles. They serve to mix the pigment more effectively.
These tablets are perfect for color mixing. They won’t stain hands or surfaces and come in the three primary colors, which can be mixed to create a rainbow of new colors.
What Colors are Included?
Fizzers come in the three primary colors: blue, red, and yellow. You can mix the tablets together to create even more colors.
Combine Tablets to Create Up to Seven Colors
Mix the red and blue tablets together to make a purple liquid. Combine the yellow and blue ones to create a green liquid. The possibilities are genuinely endless. Mix, match, and mix some more!
Learn About the Color Wheel Without Staining Your Hands
Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, and back to red. Mix the tablets together to create other colored concoctions and learn about the color wheel without staining your hands, desktops, or floors the way food coloring can.
What’s Included?
- One 100 pack of Color Fizzer tablets (comes with three primary colors: blue, red, and yellow)
Are they non-toxic?
They are entirely non-toxic. However, non-toxic does not mean they are a tasty snack, trust us, we have tried.
Do they stain?
Nope! They are specifically designed to not stain. That’s just one of the many awesome things about them.
Can I use them for Easter Eggs?
No, they are designed to color different types of liquids and don’t pack the power to stain objects such as Easter Eggs.
What colors are in the package?
A pack holds the three primary colors, which makes it perfect for color mixing!

Can these be added to bubble solution to make colored bubbles?

Stacey – You can use our Color Fizzers to change the color of the bubble solution. I would suggest dropping the tablets in water to fully dissolve and then add to the bubble solution mix. It will give the bubbles a slight rainbow effect. Best of luck with the Bubbles. Josh

This is a great question. The Color Fizzers will not stain, so they should work for what you need. You will have to test it to see if it will work for what you need. We’d love to hear back if they work for your application.

Question
Michelle Diamond –
Can the Color Fizzers be added to the Clear Glass Slime Liquid Solution (before becoming slime) to create other colors?
I realize that 5 additional colors of slime are available for purchase. However, we are interested in creating our own slime colors.
If the Color Fizzers will give color to the Clear Glass Slime Liquid Solution, then we could create slime in colors that are not available for purchase.
This thought alone makes the idea of purchasing slime much more enticing.
Please let me know ASAP! Thank you!

Michelle – thanks for the question. You can definitely use the color fizzes or food coloring to change the color of the slime. When doing it add it, only mix with the Slime Activator. Once that is completed you can mix with the clear slime to change the color. Have fun and enjoy the rest of the year. Joshua

Hey Jennifer, the color fizzers would not be a good for the film canisters. They would not build up enough pressure for the canister to launch. You can use either Flat Fizzers or Alka Seltzer. I hope this information is helpful. Joshua
