The World’s Best Slime!
Non-glue, easy-to-use, and won’t stain your hands.
Go beyond glue slime and make the world’s best slime using Spangler’s Slime Art. Each kit comes with 1 liter of high quality PVA (polyvinyl alcohol) solution with your choice of coloring. What makes our slime formulation unlike anything else on the market is the addition of stabilizing agents that help to reduce the growth of bacteria while preserving the stretchy, gooey properties of slime that everyone loves.
How does Steve Spangler’s Slime Art work?
It’s like microscopic spaghetti – long chains of slippery, slimy molecules called a polymer. The Activator Solution links together long polymer chains to form the world’s best slime. Keep your slime in a zipper-lock bag for safe storage. Keep off of carpet, wood surfaces, or anywhere slime will damage.
What does it teach?
Making slime is a great way to introduce the concepts of changes in states of matter (from a liquid to a solid), to demonstrate the process of cross-linking long chains of molecules, and to explore the science of polymers. Making slime is a perfect Halloween activity. Use slime to teach students about states of matter as two liquids mix to become a solid.

After dealing with a kitchen covered in sticky glue, it’s so nice to have something that is easy to clean up. The hardest thing to clean up in kitchen is the glitter that my kids bought at Hobby lobby and make their slime sparkly. I bought green and clean. Wish I would have bought another bottle of the clear glass kind. My kids love mixing in everything.

The video says that it’s easy to make and you’re right. My kids loved experimenting with different amounts of the liquid. So easy to make and the clean-up is easy too.

Question
reiko371 –
The description above is copied from the smaller slime amount and needs to be updated. I’m trying to figure out how many oz of slime I’ll get out of the gallon size. What is it?
The classroom slime kit contains 2 – 1L of PVA and it says it makes 64 oz of slime in the upper description box and then the FAQ box on the bottom says it makes ” 24, 2 ounce portions… with a little left over” (is 16 oz a little left over?). I couldn’t follow this so I couldn’t use it to figure out the gallon amount.

The gallon version of the slime kit include 3.8 Liters of Slime and 32 oz of the Activator. When mixed together, it will make 128 – 1 oz portions of slime for your students. All of the slime kits come with an activity guide that will provide you with the exact proportions to make the perfect batch every time. You can make a little or a lot at a time. It’s completely up to you.
